For this assignment I went into the nearby woods looking for some kind of expansive shot showing a heavily wooded area. but what ultimately caught my eye was this oak sapling with its November leaves backlit by a streak of sunlight filtering through the trees. The main benefit from doing this Monthly Assignment was that it got me out in a beautiful wooded area for a few hours on one of the last warm-ish days of late fall.
