Thanks for all the comments guys. The last is also my favorite - I like the curve of the river leading in. It took a lot of work to control contrast. I shot an HDR set, but wasn't happy with processing it. In the end I used an under exposed shot, so the sky wasn't blown out, then recovered the shadows with masking. The dynamic range on my A7cr is amazing!

Incredible shots! The mood is so stark and striking, the B&W really gives it a punch. The third and the last are my favorites of the set.

Last one the clouds look like waves crashing over the mountains. Really a spectacular image.
I'm a big fan of the first one too Jim, love the diagonal and richness of the tones, sweet blacks!
