Thank you Dan, appreciate the kind words! I believe that's the Pleiades Star Cluster in the upper right part of the sky, plus it's a really dark area with very little light pollution so the stars really shine!

Ah "the Seven Sisters" one of my celestial "anchor points" for navigating the nite sky Scott. I have astro images from this from 30 years ago on a ccd coupled SCT and computer.
My 1st astro image digital was with the 20D an 16-35 in 2004.

Thank you, I appreciate your comment! I was on my way to another location to watch the aurora and passed this canyon when the sky began to glow. Quickly came up with this concept and went to work with the vision I had.
