First time in my almost 60 years that I remember a visible to the naked eye aurora this far south, before I could only see through the camera. taken with Nikon Z9 and either 20 or 24 mm f 1.8. or with a Leica SL3 with 35 mm f2.0 lens from 2 to 10 second exposures. as always, comment and critique welcome !
thanks to Alan and Junglialoh. It was incredible to watch them shimmer and change like I was in Norway. I went back last night hoping to get some more photos. The magnetic storm was not as strong as the night prior, but I was able to get some shots, I'll post those soon.
