p.1 #1 · Nikon F & Z Macro Lenses for Picture to Digital and Negative to Digital Scanning
I may end up purchasing a copy stand and some other peripherals to salvage my older photos in digital format.
Like the title indicates - I'm sticking with Nikon (I used to dabble with some really amateur photography with an F5).
I'm not very sure which lenses would be most appropriate to replicate regular 35mm as well as what appear to be some medium - format negatives. I also have some pictures close in size to 8.5" x 11" in size...

I'm planning to get the "AF-S Micro-NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8G ED" lens to digitize some old photos and negatives that I can't conveniently scan with my Epson photo scanner. I may use my Z6 III with the FTZ II adapter, but I'm also planning to get a D850 soon which I may use instead. I'll probably use the D850 for larger portraits at the very least.

Here's a combo of Z and F gear to digitize 35mm transparencies and negs. Nikon Z9 w/Z 105mm f2.8 S, with a bunch of step down and up rings to make up the distance of the Nikon PS-4 bellows mounted to an Amazon L-bracket. The Z9 is RRS Arca Swiss mounted to a 300mm AS rail, the PS-4 L bracket is secured to the rail with 2 sets of 1/4-20 screws and washers. The black card keeps the spill of the AD400 model lamp from bleeding past the negative slots and minimizes glare when viewing the cameras LCD. The entire set up is mounted to a Manfrotto Side Arm ART:131DD.
