It is a unique formation. I wonder how it would have looked with the camera very close to the ground with exaggerated shadows and perspective?

Nice shot. I agree with Groovy that a lower - closer viewpoint might emphasize the "alien" aspect. Cropping the ocean and people off the top would also work with this one.
