p.1 #1 · Supermoon Rising

Had a clear window for the Beaver Moon again yesterday and couldn’t resist. Everything lined up better than expected rising right over the rugged peaks of the Gore Range. Always fun when planning, timing, and luck all come together for a few quiet minutes before the light’s gone.

Thanks Jung, I'm glad I went back. Like you said, different but then there's the variety of what I captured.

Sweet shots. I really like the first - classic rise, but the clouds also add interest in the others.

Appreciate it Jim! I was torn on which to lead with — the first had that classic simplicity, but those passing clouds added some nice interest later on. It’s always fun when the conditions give you a mix of options in just a few minutes.

Thanks, Douglas! Those thin clouds were a nice surprise — just enough to give the moon a bit of texture without covering it up.

This is so cool! Great job on these. I love how you've set the moon against the surroundings like this. But the clouds, wow! How fortunate was that!

Thanks for the kind words! I couldn’t believe how those clouds drifted through right on cue — they gave it that little extra atmosphere I wasn’t expecting. One of those lucky evenings where everything just clicked.
