p.1 #1 · Supermoon Rising

Had a clear window for the Beaver Moon again yesterday and couldn�t resist. Everything lined up better than expected rising right over the rugged peaks of the Gore Range. Always fun when planning, timing, and luck all come together for a few quiet minutes before the light�s gone.

Sweet shots. I really like the first - classic rise, but the clouds also add interest in the others.

Appreciate it Jim! I was torn on which to lead with � the first had that classic simplicity, but those passing clouds added some nice interest later on. It�s always fun when the conditions give you a mix of options in just a few minutes.

Thanks, Douglas! Those thin clouds were a nice surprise � just enough to give the moon a bit of texture without covering it up.

This is so cool! Great job on these. I love how you've set the moon against the surroundings like this. But the clouds, wow! How fortunate was that!

Thanks for the kind words! I couldn�t believe how those clouds drifted through right on cue � they gave it that little extra atmosphere I wasn�t expecting. One of those lucky evenings where everything just clicked.
