Halloween is a big deal in Greenwich Village where I live. Residents have been gearing up for several weeks now. Tomorrow is the big day, with a parade tomorrow night and of course trick or treating.
These are GREAT Steve!
Hopefully you are NOT having the wind we are having now...35-50mph gusts and Halloween decorations blowing all over the roads!
Batten down the hatches tonight! Would love to stroll your neighborhood tonight!
Have fun!

Steve, I went out last night too to warm up for the 6th Ave crazy tonight.
Hey Charles, Always a crazy day in Greenwich Village on Halloween. There was a line half a block long early this morning at the Halloween store around the corner from me. Hope you got some good ones today.

The wind was forceful today Dan. Big blasts of air blowing even large objects around.
I got lazy - the crowd was enormous and I wasn't feeling it. Ended up at the Knick telling "horse walks into a bar" jokes, angling Harriett for a free drink in compensation for my wit and comic efforts. All in vain, but it was a good crowd at the bar and we had fun.

The "hawk" be blowin' up a storm Steve! Most of the Halloween decorations in the neighborhood next to be are blowing all over the Interstate! The high winds brought down many leaves that had a week or 2 to get bright red before falling.
The buildings in NYC probably created a vortex of sorts as it cleared out all the sidewalk debris.

Hey Charles, agree that the village is so crowded on Halloween that going to the Knick watering hole is a great choice for food, drink, and conversation.

One can tend to overlook the Forums that have this "feature" Steve. When I "x" post, "C,S,A....." does not have this "feature".
So nice surprise! best kind!
