Never watched a full "Transformer" movie but remember 1 of the transformers being named Septimus Prime.
He is now a target for the "punkin' chunkin' cannon.

Septimus is a handsome fellow in your image.
Al
It's a "hoot" Al!!!! I never went on a weekend..Hundreds of people and no place to shoot and the owner would NOT allow me on the barn's roof.
At night the deer would mosey up to the busted pumpkins and by morning all the pumpkin debris is gone!
Recycle!!

Nice shots Dan, these are big "transformers" how tall is the second one?
Marcelo
The fall corn stalks will give you an idea of the scale Marcelo. I would say 50ft and the targets placed on a concrete pedestal were 60ft or more!
Thnaks!

Interesting subject you've got there, Dan. I am always fascinated when I see stuff like this...I wonder what the vision is when they start creating, and does it develop as they go. You did a fine job of capturing these works of "art".

This farm is way back in the Catoctin Mtns near Camp David. All the fields of corn and soybeans were awaiting harvest. When I first found this place it was a shock seeing these monsters rising out of the corn. Lucliky I had a camera with me and it was during the week and not a soul around! As the years progressed the owner became very inventive with the targets for the punkin' chunkin' cannon.
Johnny Depp, Capt Jack Sparrow , was in then so he changed the targets to "masted wooden ships".
I will post some later.
Thanks Carol!
