I've already posted some black and whites from the drive from this area, now some color. This was our first foray into The Highlands on our September trip. Highland Base Kerlingarfjol is a high end lodge with wonderful food and hot spring baths. They also have camping, but we stayed in the lodge which was wonderful. The road in is easy as far as F roads go. The big attraction is the nearby geothermal area, Hverabotn, which I'll post later.
