p.1 #1 · Canon EF 600/4 IS II touch-up paint?

I recently picked up an EF 600/4 IS II. The lens has some scuffs & minor chips and I would like to touch them up. I don't know why, just a personal thing but I enjoy having my gear look as good as it can.

I recently bought some paint from eBay that is said to work with the v2 supertelephotos but the color does not match. In the past I have ordered paint and had success, but unfortunately this one is not the same color.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and found a good match?

It's a Canon, paint wear is part of the look. My buddy's 300mm 2.8 Mk I has like no paint left.

Back when I owned the EF 600 IS (version 1) I bought some paint directly from Canon. I don't know if they still sell it, but they used to.

I have an unused lens coat for the 600II sitting around. It's yours if you want it.
