Bolsa Chica Wetlands in Huntington Beach, California is a large protected site surrounded by developments, and was the site of Artillery emplacements during World War II. It's now a protected area that hosts all sorts of bird life (and coyotes!).

Love 1; 3&4 seem to have exposure bumped up a bit too much on the subject, where it appears to be out of place to my eyes / on my monitor.
