Here is a photo I took today at the Berlin Dahlem Botanical Garden.
OM System OM-1 MKII + OM System M.ZUIKO 50-200/2.8 Pro IS.
ISO 250, 1/200 s, f/7.1, at 200 mm
I was able to get this lens during this years trip to Japan (for significantly cheaper than even the cheapest used copy I've seen), though I'm not much of a wildlife photographer. Truth be told I took a break from photography for a few years (due to some dramatic life issues) and have been slowly getting back into it. Made a big plunge this year buying the OM-3, 12-45/4, 20/1.4, and 50-200/2.8 IS to replace the G9 II + PL 12-60 I have had and just never enjoyed using. I originally intended to just get the PL 50-200 (because that is also so cheap here) but decided to go all in. Might as well enjoy life! Here are a few I've grabbed with it since getting it. All with my OM-3 and the 50-200.
My son looking at a world within a bubble. He is severely autistic (non-verbal) and this image kind of captures what it feels like to see him interact with things. He always seems to see the world through a different lens.
My in-laws live a few minutes from Liberty Walk HQ in Nagoya, so I dropped in. JDM metal is my thing but somehow I've never stopped by...
This one coincidentally lines up with the monthly challenge, so I dropped it in there. One of my favorite cars (PGC10 Skyline GT-R) done up by LW.
