Danthanks brother. I do know of your love for the big cats. In some instances we were 15-20 feet away, but for the most part around 30-40 feet
That is close considering the amount of are the cat could cover in a blink of an eye. I have a story about one (solid black female panther) but won't bore you or the members.

I went with a friend of mine who arranges these kinds of trips.I guess I meant that you stopped at a SouthWild lodge, where one can photograph that ocelot. I did!I was just there in Sept 2025. I see. yes we did use the Southwild Lodge for the 2 nights stay after the Jaguars. What an amazing and unique place Pantanal is.
