Looking for a replacement foot for the 600/4 IS II. I tend to do a ton of handheld shooting and thus would like something comfortable to use as a handle, so something too low-profile might not do the trick. I do use the lens on a tripod, too, so arca-swiss of course. Recommendations?

I've only used Wimberley, Kirk and RRS. I started with Wimberly because I thought I wanted the lowest profile possible, but found I couldn't hold the lens safely nor comfortably. I currently use RRS and am very happy with their products but haven't tried the Hejnar foot that @jmckayak recommends. I see what he means by " 'ski-jump' finger stop" and it could be a better design if your hand fits the space.

I use Kirk and Leofoto feet on all my super teles. The Leofoto has a rubber pad and its very comfortable to walk around with. I carry mine a lot, and those feet have the QD socket which i love for times when i rock the rifle sling

Man, I saw this guy at Conwingo Dam with a small handle/pole on his lens foot that he used to do handheld shots. I never got a chance to inquire about it, but I took a picture but it will be sort of difficult to find because I don't know which year that occurred. It was a cool contraption.

I like the Jobu option. I used it on my 600 f4 mark ii, and now have one installed on my RF 600 f4 and one on my RF 400 F2.8. I often carry my 600 just holding it by the Jobu foot and it is way more comfortable than the original Canon foot. It does provide a good grip and I have fairly large hand. I used RRS on my 300 F2.8 mark ii but never found the profile comfortable, sort of not allowing your whole hand to fully grap the foot. The Jobu foot replacements are really well made products. I have been using them for +/-15 years... and no, they did not pay me to say that

Thanks for all the responses, fellas. I went with the RRS LCF-53 which I found for sale here on FM; will be several days before it arrives I'm sure though.
