There isn't a lens profile in Adobe Lightroom, for this lens.
Anyone know if we will eventually see one? Has anyone suggested it?
I'm going to share some test photos, showcasing flare, backlit results, color, sharpness or lack of it, purple fringing, falloff, bokeh, etc.
The good, the bad, the ugly. Sharing it all.
The way I upload, if you click on the image, it may appear to have more resolution.
I've owned the 1.2S, and the 1.8S as well. Not sure what I'm going to use longterm. But I have some thoughts, I'll get them down asap.

I need more time with it. So here’s what I have so far.
I really really really enjoy having the control ring on my glass, especially when I’m using the ZF. I use it for ISO. So that rules out the 1.8. The 1.2, is amazing, but it’s way too big for an everyday 35. I like compression, so I’m really not a 35 guy. When I use my 35, I’m usually with my family, crawling around on the floor, on a nature walk or bike ride, or at a bar or a restaurant. It is also the focal length I find myself handing over to someone else to use. So, while it’s the best, and AMAZING/STUNNING, the 1.2 is just too damn big.
I’ve had all three of them. If the 1.8 had a control ring, it would be a tough decision for me. I’m a sucker for 1.2 and 1.4 - since the 1.4 has a control ring, that’s where I have landed for now. Is it perfect no, but I am enjoying the handling and the performance so far overall. I need more time though. Let’s see what happens.
I love how it renders backgrounds, that imperfection is lovely.
Problem is, I have 40SE and for me 40/2 is too close to 35/1.4, plus 40SE is so nice and small.
Great samples!
Absolutely love this len's performance and the fact Nikon took this route. There's hundreds of uber smooth bokeh options out there, but it's been years since we had a lens with classic rendering like this. We're spoiled for options!

My kit last month:
14-24 2.8 S
35 1.2 S
50 1.2 S
85 1.2 S
135 1.8 P
40 2.0
28 2.8
I got these last two, to use on my ZF, but I never used them.
I realized that I love the Plena so much, that I didn't need such a pricey 85 1.2 sitting in my bag doing nothing.
Sold that.
Next, my thought was to sell the 35 1.2, 40 2.0, 28 2.8,
and replace them all with the Z 35 1.4.
so now I just have four lenses, instead of seven.
14-24 2.8 S
35 1.4
50 1.2 S
135 1.8 P
I have two Z8, 50 and one, 135 on the other.
I keep the 35 on the ZF.
If I need to shoot something that needs critical focus, I stop down to f2
otherwise, I love shooting at f1.4
I banked a few grand during this cleansing. I may get a 85 1.8S, but wish it had a control ring.
FWIW, the 35 50 85 1.2S are all so damn good, and the Plena.
There is something CRAZY special about the Plena, actually.
For ME, the 50 and the 135 are a perfect pairing for outdoors, which is where I shoot the most.
I've recently got in to the Nikon Z system with a ZF and 50mm 1.8s. Have picked up a 35mm 1.4 on the basis of these pics and @RustyRus pics over the threads I've seen them in.
