p.1 #1 · What's With The Inappropriate Google Ads Here?
I've been a member here on FM for years, and I can't recall seeing so many inappropriate ads popping up all the time here. I kerp seeing the same ad for ebay showing scantily dressed women. I have clicked/requested several dozen times to not continue seeing these particular ads (marked them as inappropriate), but they immediately pop up again and again.
It's come to the point that I don't dare open this site when I'm in public because these ads are definitely NSFW.
Other than not opening FM at all, is there a way to at least see other ads that are not as vulgar or inappropriate?

I'm seeing BH ads and photo-related stuff like that including some photography near to my local ISP. There are some fiber optical equipment and other electronics I don't really know about, but nothing unusual that would be of concern in public.

I'm just not getting it. I reinititiated entirety of C: like 3 times, tried 2 different computers and different browsers on each and both. Not sure what bowser and platform you are using.

EBH
Chrome/Android. All the ads I'm getting are ebay ads with pics of scantily dressed models. I don't even shop on ebay!

So in Andorids I get ads for:
A photobooth system
A Paypal payment system
Boston upright microscope (looks expensive)
Acoustic vision system (whatever that is)
Something about professional portraits (no photos)
I was finally able to get some eBay ads and they are for an engine (or pump?), some headshots of people with sunglasses, a car, and something that looks like a model of a submarine.
Maybe clear out your broswer fully and change the advertising ID if you have one.

I subscribe to AdBlock..There is a very nominal fee but the relief of not seeing ANY ads, on ANY of my computers, is well worth the fee. It has added protection also.
My MalwareBytes virus protection for my wife's MacbookPro has ad block built in.
Fred keeps the site "alive" with revenue from Google Ads. Believe me that Fred understands the annoyance BUT..........
