He compares several light-pollution filters (Astroklar, Natural Night, etc.) and shows some nice results but I keep wondering how much of that could also be achieved later in post-processing.
So Im curious:
Have you tried one of these filters, and was it worth it?
Do you find the examples in Pauls review convincing or a bit artificial?
Has anyone used such filters for aurora photography do they help or make things worse?
I always wish reviews would share the RAW files, so we could really compare results.
Id need one in 86 mm (around 200), so not exactly cheap. Unfortunately, its hard to find one to rent just for testing.
