p.1 #1 · Colorful Turtle.

Nothing hard to shoot here, but I did have to stop the car in August A. Busch Memorial Conservation Area, so we had a stare down for a couple of minutes. I am not sure what kind of turtle this is, but I am sure someone can tell me.

Thinking Easter Box Turtle though the markings on the shell are not present the other markings and eye color match up.

Former zoo guy here. That would be a 3-toed box turtle, the most common in MO.
