Malleable

p.1 #1 · Malleable

I would venture a guess that this C-Clamp is at least seven decades old. Another one of my dad's old tools. On the reverse side it says "malleable" which means that it can be hammered/bent/transformed into another shape. I'm pretty sure that this particular c-clamp is shaped just as it was when he first bought it.

I do find it interesting that the "part number" includes the 666 designation. Not sure what the thinking was there.....

Anyway, another boring photo of a boring tool for most folks. Other than the sentimental value, an experiment in lighting an object for me.

Your presentations are always "spot on" Larry! Your subjects are also unique. I never "saw" a "c" clamp look this good!

Dan,
I apologize...I thought I had responded to you the other day.

Thank you for your continued support and encouraging words. It's greatly appreciated!

Well done, Larry, but it is missing a clamping swivel foot. You make it look not a year over 20 years old!

Thanks for stopping by Douglas.

I did notice that the foot was missing. Perhaps the old man knocked it off for a particular "special use" project at one time or another. That would definitely fall in line with the "malleable" description.
