Louie, Morris, and John, Thanks so much for the nice comments. Actually, shooting Butterflies is pretty challenging as they hardly ever sit still, even more so than bees.
They are brightly colored to warn predators they don’t taste good or are poisonous. Some species mimic the actual poisonous species.This is the Gulf Fritillary
