I recently stumbled across a DIY kit that allows you to modify your FP or FP-L and make it a flip screen. Apparently it has been around for a few years, but I had never heard of it and my search results didn't return anything, so I thought I'd share. It's still a weird little camera that doesn't have IBIS or a mechanical shutter but if you can live with those shortcomings, it can be fantastic.
I paid less than $300 for the kit and was able to get my FP-L converted this afternoon. Everything still works including the touch screen and the camera really doesn't feel much different in the hand at all. The screen now rotates up to 180 degrees (one axis only), although the display perspective does not rotate, so if you wanted to use it for a selfie, your image would be upside down. Still a great addition. I'm happy with it. If anyone is interested in looking it up, the company name is Dark Power Laboratory. The YouTube assembly video is interesting to watch even if you're not considering the mod.

The kit also came with a lightweight collapsible shade that can easily attach to the screen. They have also come up with a variety of cages/grips/ssd enclosures/etc for building up FPs. Pretty neat to look at:
