Greetings fellow Fred Miranders, I wanted to share this photo of a Shoebill Stork, that was photographed in Uganda on one of the wildlife photo tours that I lead. I literally got my hands on two R5 II's just days before the trip and was excited to take them along for the adventure. The Audubon Society has chosen it as one of the top 100 bird photographs for 2025. It is an honor to be chosen for this among the many other amazing images.

Wow stunning capture. I've done the Uganda Lake hunting for Shoebill's and was lucky enough to see one and get a distant shot, so knowing the difficulty to even get close to this rare bird makes the shot even more magnificent.
