With the Ruby Throated Hummingbird migration running late I had to decide to decide to choose a location that was best for humming birds or for the Monarch Butterflies migrating. I chose the hummingbirds and while waiting between hummingbird feedings this Monarch showed up and spent at least 5 minutes coming and going to this butterfly bush. It was a lot of fun photographing it and a great way to fill the time between opportunities to photograph the hummers.
Comments and suggestions welcome,
Morris
