p.1 #1 · Long-Tailed Weasel in Point Reyes National Seashore
Hello,
This is my first post here in quite a while. I didn't feel like my images were good enough to fit in here most of the time. I've been into wildlife photography for about 10 years. I retired at the beginning of the year so now I have more time to hone my photography skills.
Anyway, on to the pictures. My wife and I spent a couple days in Point Reyes National Seashore this week. On our first day we we hiked the Tomales Bay Trail. We were about a mile out when we saw this long tailed weasel about 20' off the trail. This was the first time I'd ever seen a weasel in the wild.

Thank you for posting. Glad to see you could capture these images. The weasel is new for me - been to Pt. Reyes multiple times, but never encountered a weasel. Bobcats are hard to spot since they are active late at dusk and they blend well with the background.
