In *my* Lightroom folder, all I have is catalogs, Overlays, Lightroom settings, and Backups. But Backups aren't photos and videos, but backups of catalogs. You had to back up your photos and videos separately. My answer is predicated on the definition of move -- manually copied using Explorer or Finder, or restored from a backup?
Where are your files? Your catalog must be pointed to their location...
Be aware that backups to onboard drives are not backups you can rely on because whatever takes out your computer or original data could just as easily take out those onboard copies at the same time.
Good practice is to have at least two external backups so that even if a faulty/corrupted computer takes out one backup you'll still have at least one more to try after you fix the computer. Such good practice has saved me more than once, so it's not just theoretical advice. Never have all backups connected to the computer at the same time, whether for recovery or for updating backups.
I have a disorganize mess at the moment. While I was able to access my backed up catalog, the process has been less than satisfactory. Anyone know if I open the old catalog, the old settings will also show?
