I've been looking for an off-camera flash trigger to use on my Canon R-series cameras.
I switched camera systems from Fuji to Canon a while ago, and had 3 Godox/Flashpoint flashes (for Fuji).
I bought a new Godox (for Canon) flash to use as a commander, and it wouldn't work with them correctly, although it's supposed to. I couldn't change settings or use TTL.
In a pinch, I ended up using my X1T-F trigger as 'center pin' only and was able to use the remote flashes in M and adjust them independently.
Reading about the capabilities of Westcott's FJ-X3 trigger, it looks like it will work with a lot of other units.
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with it.
Meanwhile, I have a set of Godox flashes (TT350's) and a trigger (all for Fuji) that I can't use.
If you buy X1R f Godox receivers for your Fuji flashes, they should work Canon X1 or 2T or the X Pro I or II transmitters that you bought for your Canon camera. You are converting from Canon communications to Goddox X and then from Godox X to Fuji. The Godox X communication system needs conversion to work for Fuji flashes. The Godox flashes have built-in X receivers, but the Fuji flashes don't work without a converter (receiver) that converts from Godox X to Fuji. Your Godox X band transmitter for your Fuji camera will need to remain with your Fuji camera.
In general, Godox does not update the firmware and rather rolls out new products I am hoping that the new ones have new updates for newer cameras. Westcott or jenbeii? Has more frequent updates and less frequent roll out of new products . I have both systems,
