I saw this young girl in the crowd at a music festival and was drawn by the painted face and her calm demeanor. We didn't exchange any words but I approached her, gestured with my camera and she cooperatively fell into this pose. I shot two frames and figured if I didn't have what I wanted I wasn't going to get it by shooting any more.

She appears to be mimicking, or is indeed, a female Sadhu or other religious Hindu-Jainis figure!
And she is wearing a Tripundra on her forehead.
