p.1 #1 · We don't have these in Ohio

Yes when I think of Florida I do think of alligators. And I am sure that if you live in Florida they are as common as Cardinals are in Ohio our State Bird. However, gators are new to me to photograph so I am sharing a few that I crossed paths with.

The smaller ones were found in a small 'pit' at Hilochee where some drainage pipes were being installed, the largest one in the haze was behind the resort that we stated at in Clermont and the ones on the log sleeping were at Circle B Reserve.
C&C is always welcomed

Karl

They always look angry Karl!
One of the last of the surviving prehistoric creatures!
Great compositions here!

I understand gators prefer chicken to meat

There was one found in a pond in Southern Maryland last week!

3, 6, 7, & 9 for me out of this prehistoric set Karl. Nice work. They say if there is a body of water big enough to swim in, there is likely a gator in it around here.

We don’t have them yet Karl but I’m sure ODNR is considering them. . I’ve heard that they are reintroducing rattlesnakes to take out the turkey eggs and we’ve got bears just to the east of Cleveland now and of course the coyotes and wild turkeys that they brought back. They need the coyotes to kill the turkeys and they’ll need wolves to kill the coyotes and the next thing you know we’ll have grizzlies to kill the wolves. It’s a grand plan I guess… I wonder where we come in

Anyway, nice shooting Karl enjoyed them.
