iDX2 prices on MPB run from $1340 to a low of $554 the low's based primarily on "well used" cosmetic condition, and "extremely" high shutter count.
Perceived value would be highly dependent upon the shutter count, so if it's "low" may be worth the repair cost, but that would reflect a $1750 investment.
You could also try to sell it, or trade with MPB for a low SC, cosmetically excellent, warranted model for hopefully less than $750=S&H?
I was interested in a camera with a low shutter count but the body was beat to hell. Then again I'll pass on cameras that are in excellent cosmetic conditions if the shutter count has exceeded published shutter life.

Yeah, but my calculations includes extra costs like memory cards, brackets, batteries, etc. If only life was so simple where it would only be camera costs lolol
I would consider making the switch to a used R5 sooner than later, especially if you shoot portraits or sports. Dumping the big 5DSR and 1DXII for a compact R5 will only make you wish you had done it sooner.

Consolidating to one camera (R5) would reduce peripheral costs.
