Is it a spierweb that melted over? Is it sap that somehow got into this weird shape? Perhaps sap driped over a spiderweb, little by little taking it over and ended up in this shape.
I was sitting in the back yard and a saw a shinny reflection comming from the branch. At first I thought it was something metalic that had gotten lodged in the branch. As I got closer I noticed it was translucent, so I thought it was a piece of glass. Then when I got really close, I realized it wasn't glass. Now, I'm not quite sure what it it.
