A hawk that landed on the snow-covered roof of my lawn shed.
I think it is a Cooper's Hawk, but I am uncertain.

Using that site, I tried to i.d. that photographed hawk the best I could so I could tag it on Flickr, and speak more knowledgeably to friends and family about it. I appreciate you weighing in, and as a result, I'm going with Sharp-shinned.
My spouse and I see and HEAR hawks on a near-daily basis. Here is one in a tree in my backyard, screeching away:
