While the Saxon Switzerland in Germany of course isn't as spectacular as some other locations, it is nevertheless really beautiful and has many opportunities for great photos as well as great hikes. Here are some I took recently.

Lovely, understated (that’s a good thing!) photographs that really on subject, composition, and timing (rather than psychedelic colors). :-)
I especially like the third one with the fog and layered hills.

Hello Dan, much appreciated, thanks!
Although I of course edit my photos to bring highlights and shadows to appropriate levels, to have natural looking WB and to make colors "pop" etc., I indeed like images which look natural and "believable" much more than these "sensationalist", overcooked ones which get all the likes on social media. When I look on your website, you seem to be on the same path - great!

Nice work. I climbed there a bit back in the 80s and loved it, but found the runouts challenging!
Unfortunately I am not a climber, so one view I wanted to get to wasn't possible for me (there was no information on the net that climbing was necessary)...
By the way, all photos taken with Sony A7RV, Sony 16-35 f4 PZ (1st image) and Tamron 50-400 (images 2 to 5).
