Eerily quiet on the water this morning. The Osprey are gone. The GBH, Green Herons, terns, nothing but a lone Great Egret and a bunch of geese. Still thankful to be able to enjoy these mornings of solitude. Thanks for taking a look !

Inclined to agree with Morris. I have often wondered, is the image the prize or is it the solitude ?
John
The older I get, the more I lean towards the latter. And having a camera along gives me purpose. I could certainly just go out in a kayak and paddle around, a lot of people do. But the desire to record images gives me the incentive to get up and out where I might otherwise just grab a few more hours of sleep
Thanks John

Beautiful set, that last Egret is so impressive as well as those feeding photos, such cool light.

Thanks Brian. That last Egret was later in the morning, around 9:30, so the sun was hitting him pretty directly. Those were shot at 1/32,000 ISO 200 @ F4.5 I love when I can catch a front lit, light subject against a darker background.
