Memories! So Cal has a few mountain communities with apple harvests. We'd visit most years when young. Baking apple fires, wood smoke, apples, cider, swishing through the fallen leaves.

Yes they bake fresh pies also besides a family country dinner...Sunday's is "turkey day with all the fixins".
