In addition to the salon shots I posted over in the city forum, I took a couple of my wife Toni as well. I'm by no means a "people" photographer, but I try my best using a lot of what I've learned here in this forum. Anyway, after leaving a successful business in So Cal to move up here after I retired from 18 years of refinery operations, it's taken her time to get things going, and after two years of building her business here, she's up and running in her new salon. Needless to say, I am extremely proud of her!
Thanks for having a look!

This is a GREAT composition Greg! I suck at portraits. Seems I always have some kind of "light conflict". You got it all correct here!
I would be VERY proud of her also! Businesses like Toni's are the "life blood" of our American economy!
Well done to BOTH of you!

Thanks Dan. We love where we're living and it made sense to really establish ourselves here. We've focused on Toni getting up and running and now I'm contemplating what I might do with my photography. We have lots of artisan events in our area and I've seen lots of photographers selling prints, but they don't do well, so perhaps I'll try my hand at a coffee table book.
Thanks for always being such a positive presence here. It's very much appreciated! Oh, and Patch says Hi!

Greg, my "coffee table" is loaded with nothing but books from photographers here on FM. So join the crowd and grace me with another coffee table book!
I love them because I can put notes into the margins for my reference when I have time to get out and do some proper photography.
Yes making a business out of selling one's photos can get a tad depressing money wise.
Well you did GREAT here!
Thanks for the comment. Give Patch a huge from Uncle Dan.
