Yes, they can travel through the cattails here without making a sound. The ducks and blackbirds can tell me where they are though. I mostly see them doing the 100 yard dash in openings between cattail croppings.

Same here Tony. Usually on the bank of the marsh in the weeds. There here just don't see them much. Love the second one Tony.
Nice shot Tony. I love how curious these little guys are, I've had them walk right up to me with their catch and proceed to eat it. They are voracious predators for sure.
