According to British Columbia Wildfire Service, since Friday the province has seen 4,382 lightning strikes, with 44 new wildfires igniting in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of active blazes in B.C. to 141. Of those, 118 fires are one hectare in size or smaller.

Having lived in an area in So. Oregon where wildfires were a yearly occurrence, they did provide some excellent photography!
