I have too much stuff. But yet I regret almost every lens i have sold. Especially my Lox 21 and CV 40 1.2
I had paused my photography for a while and then jumped back in this year and made some rash decisions based on travel vs planned photo trips so ended up with a few new lenses and a new body.
A7r4 = Used to be my work horse now relegated to Landscape mostly (still dont understand why this is not a more loved camera and so soft on used market)
A1 = Now my work horse does everything I ask of it
A7Cii = New purchase for travel and really love the size but can tell the diff in pixels but not to the point of thinking it is "weak"
CV10 = Love sun stars and was my wide angle before the 14 but for resale value have kept for manual photog and sun stars
CV 21 3.5 = Got this to be a cheap replacement for the Lox 21 and give me great sun stars - little use though
Sigma 24-70 2.8 art = Got this because I feel like everyone is supposed to have this 24-70 lens but it is big and I just dont live in that zone I am wide or long.
CV 50 1.2 = Picked up for manual fun and to feel close to the old CV 40 but fill a gap in reach for me.
FE 14 1.8 = Workhorse wide lens but sometimes get frustrated that I have to add so much hardware for filters and is big
FE 20 1.8 = Got recently for a quick wide lens travelwise... i find it "nice"
FE 35 1.4 = Workhorse Lens love it slightly big
FE 85 1.8 = I rarely use this lens but because it is so cheap on used market I just dont find I can sell it.
FE 20-70 4 = New to me after the 20 1.8 purchase and used for travel..... I find it nice but not up to my other gear and dont trust it to be as fine .... but do like its size for range on the C camera.
FE 70-200 2.8 ii Workhorse i use this all the time for everything
FE 200-600 = Only really use for wildlife so it does what it does
FE 1.4x = this doesn't add to much weight and or loss of quality on lenses
2.0x = notice a loss of quality on 70-200 with this but got a deal so it stays with me as a long option
I can say I used to do mostly landscape then wildlife. I am now doing more Street, Landscape and WIldlife I still cannot shoot people for some reason I just am not good at that.
I like the idea of manuals hence the CVs
I like wide or long not in between
Id like to get to a point where things are simple and light as possible as I am getting older.
Besides these I do have an 8x10, 4x5, and Mamiya RZ 67 Pro film cameras that I work with for projects as well but that is a differnt world to me.
Where do I go....
Think the only thing I am sure of is the Sigma 24-70 needs to go but what else also I dont have a dedicated Macro lens and maybe want to add that somewhere.
Sell the Cii and the R4 and get a CR? or wait for next gen bodies
You have GAS, sir. You clearly enjoy the excitement of acquiring new gear and having the variety. I do too. As one gassy stranger to another: you need a 2nd system.
If the goal is to maximize enjoyment, consider the deltas. Adding yet another EF or a VC lens to your existing vast arsenal is NOT going to significantly increase the variety/intensity of sensory inputs into your brain. The dopamine highs will be shorter and shorter. I hope this is not controversial.
But adding a Nikon Z8 with a single lens will bring a huge change! You can successfully play the mental game of convincing yourself that you absolutely need a different kind of body for [xyz]. That's what I'm in the middle of.

Keep the A1, the 14/1.8, 70-200 and the 200-600.
Sell everything else. And buy some Tums.

Let's start with what you should obviously keep:
A1, FE 14 f/1.4, FE 35 f/1.4, FE 70-200 f/2.8 II, FE 200-600 these you seem to like a lot and use a lot
Let's look at what should probably go:
A7r IV, FE 85 f/1.8, CV 21 f/3.5, Sigma 24-70 f/2.8
Let's look at what you might want to let go, but might want to keep
A7C II, FE 20-70 f/4, CV 50 f/1.2, FE 2X TC
That leaves:
CV10, FE 20 f/1.8, FE 1.4X TC
The first two are perhaps a beginning of a nice travel kit
I think it also makes sense for you to get an A7Cr and if you do then the A7C II as well as the A7r IV should probably go. You should have plenty with what you are selling to get a nice macro lens too and perhaps a nice 40 that you seem to like.
In line with the earlier "As one gassy stranger to another: you need a 2nd system" - for macro, add OM-1 II with the 90mm f3.5 Macro lens. You wouldn't regret it.
I have a FF kit (A1 with several lenses that you have as well) but added a mFT kit about 1.5 years ago and liked the experience, e.g with the OM-1 II and the 300mm f4 or 40-150mm f2.8 lenses.
Next in the plans is adding the GFX100S II with the 20-35mm f4 lens.
Thus, diversifying and trying different systems can keep you entertained for some reasonably long time.
