Forgive me if this question has been asked before, but I have a 'spot' on all the studio portraits I have taken using my Canon R5 with an EF 70-200 F2.8 IS VII.
The 'spot' is in a different location in every image. It appears to be the same size in each one.
No clue, I've just neve seen it before. Only thing I can think of is I changed from Mechanical Shutter to Electronic First Curtin from yesterday to today to get the extra sync speed. The images I shot yesterday don't appear to have it.

oil drop? It looks like it's refracting and passing light.
I don't have a magnifying glass. I can buy one today and check it out. I also have another shoot today. I'm going to switch back to Mechanical Shutter and see what happens. Thanks for the reply.

Do you have a magnifying glass and a flashlight. Open the shutter and take a look at the sensor.
Any luck with this spot? It does look like a liquid, odd that it moves around though. I wonder if changing between shutter modes could've dislodged it? I'd probably just have blasted it with my rocket blower and hope it stuck somewhere else
I switched back to the mechanical shutter and it still appeared. I'm just going to have the sensor cleaned before my next shoot. Killed me in extra time Photoshopping it out.
