This was my first outing using the Loawa 25mm 2.5 5x macro handheld in my yard. I find this to be a very difficult lens to use handled. It is dark (this was shot at 2.5x with F5.6) plus even the slightest movement makes things jump like crazy.
The image is a 25% crop of a very small spider (at least I think that's the spider in the upper right) stocking his restaurant.
Out of about 15 to 20 shots only three were close to in focus (all manual with no focus ring - you move the camera in and out) when you do get a shot it is unique. For this type of shooting handheld maybe a 5% keeper rate is OK.
Had to chuckle a bit here Bob! I went outside and the spider webs have ensnared many of the invasive "Lantern bug" in them. A huge feast for such a small spider!
Great work here! Our yards a just full of photo ops! They look like miniature milk bottles.
