As I local I have visited the museum several times. I still see or read something new every visit. I
They have on display the original block wall from the Saint Valentines Day Massacre in 1929. The museum is in the old Las Vegas court house and the basement has been converted to a working speak easy and distillery. It is a very cool place! If you make a trip to "Sin City" I highly recommend a trip to the Mob Museum.

***WARNING - There are images of actual weapons used in crime. No gore, but weapons***

Thank you Dan! It is a pretty amazing place, especially if you like the mob history. There are so many displays spread out over 4 floors, there may be an Elliot Ness display that I missed.

An interesting photographic project Chad, documenting the "Mob" Museum. These are truly scary guys. One of the ironies is that they housed the museum in a former court house. Nice work.

Thank you Steve. Housing the museum in the court house is a perfect move and great planning by the originators. On a side note many say the museum is haunted do to the actual building and the many items on display.

Nice photos! How did you find the X100VI for Las Vegas? Perfect focal length?
The X100VI is a really interesting camera for me. I loved shooting with it—the feel, the controls, and that much-talked-about vintage styling were all fantastic. The image quality was outstanding as well.
My issue, though, was the size. It isn’t exactly a small camera, just a bit smaller than a typical mirrorless body. Depending on the lens you pair it with, that can change a lot, but I still found myself reaching for my regular setup and leaving the Fuji at home.
I eventually sold the X100VI and picked up a Ricoh GR IV instead. I love how much smaller it is, and it makes the decision to bring it along—rather than a body and lens—much easier.
