Last restock I called for the 100-500 and waffled in the call. Got the courage up again to set my wallet on fire and it was gone. Pretty excited I managed to pull the trigger today. Thanks to the email update for restock! Always seems to be some confusion over what the loyalty discount is but either way hoping a great copy shows up :-D

I've used a half-dozen copies of the 100-500 and they are pretty consistent, more than any of the EF 100-400s were.
However, it's important to test refurbs carefully since you never know the full history of the particular copy.
Yeah I will dig through the forums on how to best do that but thank you for reminding me to do my diligence. Now to find an affordable 1.4 or 2x until the super zoom refurbs drop below 10 grand 🤣
