I am thinking about buying the updated Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-310 printer, in major part because I want to use longer-lasting pigment-based inks.

Does anyone have experience with this printer (very similar to but not identical to the 300 version, which the 310 replaces)?

What do you think of it? What does it do well and what less well or poorly? Any comparisons to other printers?

Would you recommend another pigment-ink prointer instead?

What is your sense of the ink costs, especially compared to pigment-ink alternatives (dye printers are not comparable on this issue).

How much space does the 310 need to be conveniently used?

I've not looked at them as it's not a printer I need, but Keith Cooper has made over 1/2 a dozen videos on the Pro-310.
