A very modest patch that someone planted not far from my house. I was out on a bike ride last evening and thought I'd try and grab a few shots. I'm hoping that when they go to seed it might draw in some Goldfinch and whatnot.
OM-1 and Olympus 100-400 and OM 90 3.5 Macro
Thanks for taking a look.
Gary
These are wonderful, up to your usual high standard. I also like the first. The fine hairs and color pallet.
You have some depth of field, but the background is blurred. Did you focus stack these?

Thanks so much ! Without double-checking I'd say 1,3,5,6,9,10,11,and12 are focus-stacked in camera from a tripod.

These are very pretty Gary. The sunflowers are very pretty, I just visited a farm with 50 acres, and I would bet you will get your goldfinches.

I'm definitely going to check back

Thanks Birdie. The owner said he planted them because his daughter mixes them with bacon grease and feeds it to her chickens
