The instructions are terrible. The F/W interface and cable are poorly designed - the pins won’t stay in place. Also, it’s unclear whether the pins are polarized or not. There is no mark.
They should at least provide a clip like Megadap's first version. I guess that's why it costs just $99.

I didn't like the system for updating either. The adapter was fine, but that cable was something. The one I sent you is on the latest firmware (because I did update it).

A question here instead of starting a new thread.
When I shoot a Sony lens on the Viltrox adapter on my Nikon camera, when I import those photos into Lightroom, they are automatically using the profile of the equivalent Nikon lens instead of the correct Sony lens.
So for example, if I am shooting my Sony ZA 50/1.4 lens using the Viltrox adapter on my Nikon ZF, when I import those raw files in the Lightroom it is showing up as a Nikon 50/1.4G lens instead of the correct lens. I can then go and manually correct it.
Is there any way to get this to automatically assigned the correct lens instead of having to manually do it?

Maybe not automatically but you CAN make a LR preset with the correct lens profile so it's one click in bulk.

That's a good point, thanks.
Do you happen to know if any of the E-Z adapters do this automatically? I think my next adapter will be the latest Megadap due to the weather sealing, etc.
