Beautiful, Ross!.
We don't have anything like those around here - lots of other stuff, but not the waterfalls (or mushrooms), like you get back east
Doug
Thanks, Doug! Your area has that amazing rugged mountain beauty that I need to be around again, maybe next year.
Ross - these are all outstanding. My favorites are 1, 2, and 4. I especially like your choices of shutterspeeds so that the texture of the water best complements the rest of the scene.

Very nice, I need to go back down that way. I live in the north central part of Ohio and have only been to Hocking a few times.
Thank you fellow Ohioan! I don’t get over there as often as I’d like. Sometimes the crowds are too much for me such as during spring break, but weekdays during school and especially if the weather is rainy are great.

These are beautiful. The long exposures really work well in these settings.
Greg
Thanks, Greg! I had a quite a range of speeds, from 1/8th to 25sec, depending on the light and the falls. I do still love soft flowing water so I guess I’m old school.

Dennis, appreciate your comment and for noticing that the shutter varied with the falls. I tried to think about texture, and I also had to deal with varying brightness (the 25 sec. exposure was in a really dark section of canyon late in day, but I like the dreamy result against the rugged rocks).

Ross, all the above comments are justified for this set.....superb set. You have my vote
Your support makes me happy, thanks for enjoying the set!
Beautifull pictures of a soul-soothing waterfall Ross.Too bad the nearest waterfall is 120km away from me and always crowded,so as it is very unlikely to get a decent photo.

Beautiful set. The first image is the standout for me.
great shots and yup, Hocking has some real beauties...walk the trail from Cedar Falls to Old Man's Cave after a good spring drenching and you'll see 10-15 of them....
