My photography has been restricted only to birds so far. This forum gives me an opportunity to explore other areas. There is a lot to learn for me and hopefully will do. Would try participating in these challenges as much as possible.

No need to apologize Dan. I thought I came strong with my original posting, when we all are strangers to each other. It becomes that much difficult when the context gets lost on texts/chats unlike real life conversations.

Your post seemed fine to me Sreedhar. Sometimes people consider an "exclamation point" as a harsh retort. I did not take it that way...FM is a great forum! Just because your are a "FNG" sorry for the military slang..joking of course..in jest...doesn't mean you can't enter a contest and have that moniker used against you!... And win or at least place! Kudos to anyone that does enter.
An entry should be voted on a basis of visual and photographic technique and pleasure IMHO.

Thank you for the pointer about the "exclamation point" Dan. Will keep that in mind for the future. Agreed 100% about how a photograph should be judged.
