Wildfire season once again in British Columbia. B.C.'s 2024 wildfire season was the fourth-worst on record. There were 1,339 wildfires after April 1, which burned a total of 939,967 hectares (3,600 square miles). One can't imagine the number of wildlife killed in those fires.

The smoke from this wildfire reached Parksville and provided these sunsets.
