The chicks are flying! I went out today to see them. One of the babies decided to practice flying while I was there. At one point it flew almost straight at me.

All images are shot on the Nikon z9 in crop mode with the z800 6.3 at F8

Tough sky. It is a lot of fun to watch them take their first flights. They master the skill a lot faster than we learn to walk. Fishing takes longer.

Some really nice captures, I hear down south around the Chesapeake, the Osprey are not faring too well.
